FAQ
If your question isn’t listed here, please feel free to contact the practice.
Absolutely! First, you book a telephone appointment via the patient portal or by phone. The GP will discuss your symptoms over the phone and assess whether a face-to-face appointment is necessary.
Via the ‘Patient Portal’ button on our website. Once you have registered, you will have access to your medical records and online services.
You can book appointments, request repeat prescriptions, view test results, access your medical records and send messages to the practice.

No, in most cases, a referral from your GP is no longer required for physiotherapy, speech and language therapy, dietetics and podiatry. You can book an appointment directly with the practice of your choice. The healthcare provider will assess your condition and, if necessary, begin treatment. Reimbursement depends on your health insurance and any supplementary cover you may have.
No, we do not issue medical ‘certificates’ or so-called ‘doctor’s notes’ for work, school, sport or other organisations that require an assessment of your fitness for work.
In the Netherlands, it is customary for a GP not to issue statements about their own patients, as this could give rise to a potential conflict of interest in their role as a practitioner. However, the GP may provide you with medical information from your medical records.
Do you need a medical certificate, for example for work or insurance purposes? If so, you can contact an independent medical examiner or a specialist organisation.
For patients who do not use email or the patient portal, there are alternative options.
For repeat prescriptions, you can use the prescription box at the surgery. You can return empty medicine packs here so that repeat prescriptions can be requested.

We recommend, where possible, that you use the patient portal to ensure your requests are processed as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Together with them, we ensure that your appointment takes place on time and is properly prepared. They will send you emails on behalf of our practice. Such an email might, for example, be an invitation to complete a medical questionnaire or a request for you to book an appointment with us. We would really appreciate it if you could respond to such requests.
